The Cliff Williams Foundation
The foundation was formed in 1990 when Justiss Oil Company honored the memory of Cliff Williams with an endowment gift to be used for the educational needs of K-12 public school students in LaSalle Parish.
A Tribute To Cliff Williams
Cliff was a native of Jena, LA, son of Pat and Charles Williams, married to Jennifer Justiss Williams Loe, and is the father of Amy Williams Kunkel and Adam Williams. He was a Petroleum Engineer and Justiss Oil Company's Vice President of Drilling and Production Operations. Cliff was actively involved in many industry organizations, and upon his untimely death, was posthumously awarded "Contractor of the Year” by Reed Tool Company and the International Association of Drilling Contractors.
A Gift To Children
The foundation is indeed a living memorial to Cliff. Funds generated from the endowment and other foundation income help support education each year by providing grants to teachers and schools. Since its inception, the foundation has contributed over 1.2 million dollars to our local school system. What an impact these funds make in nine rural schools! The Board of Directors would like to thank you, the sponsors, participants, and friends of the foundation, without whom, these grants would not be possible.

The CWMF Board of Directors is committed to promoting academic excellence within our school system, working closely with the LaSalle Parish School Board to promote teamwork in reaching our common goals. Enthusiastic and creative teachers request educational grants for the classroom, which are designed to rejuvenate and enrich curriculum, provide new learning opportunities, motivate and encourage student participation and promote understanding.
Once the applications are received, the Foundation's Board of Directors reviews, researches, discusses, and prioritizes the applications. Grant awards are decided upon and funds are awarded for the upcoming school year.
